Great hole-in-the-wall dosa place in San Antonio! Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. Dosas are large and perfectly tangy. Quick lunch and it hit the spot totally. Would recommend to anyone craving some great South Indian food.

We wanted to try different restaurant rather than going to the same restaurants. To the surpise food options were different compared to other Indian restaurants. The food we ordered were authentic tamil foods and all are really good. Some of the food item was exactly taste like we eat back in India and the way it was made and look also similar. Will try again with other food items in the menu.

Dosas cooked to perfection. Beautiful flavors in the accompanying sauces and curries. I am a fan of Indian food in the area, but Dosa City brings a south Indian/Sri Lankan flavor and approach to food that is uncommon in a market largely dominated by northern Indian cuisine. Refreshing and delicious. Well worth a visit - we will be regular customers.

Small shop with good variety of food , everything we had tasted good 👍 quantity was good too 🙌🏻 we had chicken kothu idiyappam ( which I never had anywhere in satx ) butter chicken , vechu parotta, egg vechu parotta, ginger tea ☕️ spice level was moderate will be going back to try briyani and meals .

This is a show stopper! Do yourself a favor and stop by Dosa City as soon as possible and try literally anything on their menu. Their food is phenomenal! I stopped in on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I got the cheese dosa and paneer butter masala curry. Insane. Absolutely, deliciously insane. I also tried their rose milk and WOW. So packed full of flavor. This little hole in the wall is a must-try! The parking is limited, the seating is pretty decent for small groups of about 5 or so, shared M/F bathroom, and the staff is very friendly and sweet. Family owned and operated. I love that. Just, trust me, it's AMAZING! I can't wait to go back and try more.

It was good. Everything was hot and fresh. I got a dosa and Poori. the only issue is that menu is hard to understand as in names that most people wont know so be ready to be ask some questions. Great place. Mango Lassi is really good too.

If you’re looking for authentic South Indian/Sri Lankan food, this place will go beyond satisfying your cravings. I don’t live anywhere near San Antonio, but I feel the urge to return here multiple times just to try all their dosas. We ordered podi dosa (pictured), puttu and korma, kothu idiyappam, kothu parotta, and shrimp. Everything was 150% delicious. I’d like to highlight the sambar, which was so tantalizing to the taste buds. The kothu idiyappam was also extremely tasty, and a new dish for me. Overall, it was nice to order from a South Asian menu that doesn’t have the same things you see at every other restaurant. And the food does not disappoint at all. From the flavors to the portion sizes, we were well fed! The service was also great, they were so friendly. Thank you for a great dinner!

Great place for South Indian food, especially Dosas. My fav - Podi Idli and Onion Rava Dosa. It was delicious and authentic.

Yum!!!!! Found an awesome place to cure my dosa cravings. The masala dosa is great! Good size, and tasty dips. Mango lassi is perfect, not too sweet. Probably the best butter chicken we've tasted so far in San Antonio.

Very good dosa. Sambar and coconut chutney just perfect. Am gonna come back for the fresh made parothas. Didn't find anything like that in SATX yet. Real hole in the wall gem! Don't expect great interiors. Just simply good South Indian food.

Never heard anyone talk about it. So this place is called dosa city right? You can't not get the dosa... so that's what we did. We got a couple of Masala dosas (dosa with potatoes filling) and a plain dosa for our 3 year old son. Can't get Indian food without the mango lassi ( I guess you could... but why would you??). And of course, love love love butter chicken, so gotta get that every time I go anywhere Indian. Also got a couple paratas with chicken curry. Remember, this is South Indian food, so it's gonna be spicy. And dang was it delicious. Dosas we're cooked to order, super yummy, even my 3 year old loves it. The masala dosas were great! But lemme tell you about this butter chicken... straight up amazing. I'm gonna go back this week for some more butter chicken cuz I could lick that bowl. Probably the best butter chicken I've had here in SA (haven't tried India oven, hear great things though). I will say this place is more of a take out place. The interior leaves a lot to be desired. But I don't go to places for the decorations, I go for amazing food. And this place has it.
